On Saturday, 8 September 2007, the Vlaamse Raket Organisatie was present for the first Belgian Rocket Motor Day (BRMD) organized by the Groupe d'Etudes Aerospatiales . The event was a success. First of all there was the good weather, but also the very well organization made this a superb event, concluded with a nice BBQ.
A total of 8 motors were tested of which 4 developped by the Vlaamse Raket Organisatie. The two fiberglass motors with KNO3 sugar propellant developed by Bert Kimpe and the two Zinc-Sulfur motors by Tony (Antoon) Vyverman performed as foreseen.
Now the measurement data will be analysed and the results will be published soon.
Photo's and Video's can be found in our Multimedia Gallery .
Thanks again to the GEA for organizing this nice event.
